So far, Travel Lifestyle Magazine has been a place for me to share my own tips and stories, but I’ve decided to accept guest posts from fellow travellers, aspiring writers and other bloggers. If you’re trying to build a portfolio of online content, writing for Travel Lifestyle Magazine can be a great way to build your portfolio. You can include an author bio with your article, with a headshot and a description of who you are and what you do.
Website Links
If you have your own website or blog, you can include two links to your site in your guest post. This will direct traffic to your website, and help you build an online following and establish authority.
Your Article Delivered Straight To Readers’ Inboxes
Once your article is published, it will be included in an email newsletter to Travel Lifestyle Magazine’s subscribers.
Writing Guidelines
One thing to note: I’m not going to accept any old nonsense. If you want to publish on Travel Lifestyle Magazine, you’ll need to send an article that people are genuinely going to enjoy reading! Guest Posts Must Be Original
I don’t accept guest posts that have been published anywhere else on the internet. Your content should be completely unique and will be checked for plagiarism. Also, if you have an article idea, check to see if it’s a topic I’ve already written about — your guest post should bring something new to this travel blog.
Guest Posts Should Be 700 Words or More
Your guest post is much more likely to share value with Travel Lifestyle Magazine’s readers if it’s of a decent length. Longer content is also more likely to rank in Google.
Photos and Videos
If you want to include photos or videos in your guest post, that’s completely fine! Visual content can add to your guest post, and bring your stories to life. Just make sure any photos or videos you want to include are of high quality.
Guest Posts Should Be About Travel Topics
You can write a guest post on any travel-related topic. This could include destination guides or tips, personal travel stories, ‘top 10’ lists, or travel accessory guides. And if you’ve had any travel disasters, these could make a great addition to my new category: Travel Horror Stories.
Include An Author Bio
When submitting your guest post, please also include an author bio and your most charming picture of yourself. Don’t be shy! This is your chance to tell readers more about yourself.
